1. Finger amputation
This is the custom of the Dani tribe in Indonesia. Women in Dani tribe take their husbands as their absolute center. As long as someone in the tribe dies, the female family members who are closely related to the deceased will cut off a finger with a stone axe to express their condolences to the deceased. 2. Bury children alive to exorcise demons
This incredible "buried alive" ceremony has been going on in the Indian village of Perahur for 57 years. The children who participated in this sacrificial ceremony lost consciousness first, then were put into a temporary grave prepared in advance, completely buried with soil for 60 seconds, and then dug up. It is said that this is a local traditional religious custom, and the purpose of doing this is to worship two goddesses who can exorcise demons.
