They directly face college students who have just entered the school or undergraduates who have book knowledge, and the results can be imagined.

2. The teaching mode is single and the teaching reform lags behind.

For a long time, design sketch teaching has invariably chosen constructive and creative design sketch forms closely related to plane composition and graphic creativity, but this single design sketch teaching form is not suitable for the basic design teaching of every design course. As we all know, as early as the late 1980s, the sketch form of painting art has been reformed, and different sketch methods have been created for different painting forms such as Chinese painting, oil painting and printmaking, and very obvious teaching effects have been achieved. In the early days of the emergence of design specialty, without exception, students were trained in the design foundation by sketching and sketching, and the basic essentials and elements to be used in design, such as basic modeling, basic structure and space, were solved. For a long time, this teaching mode undoubtedly played a very positive role in the design teaching at that time. However, after entering the 2 1 century, with the rapid development of all aspects of the whole society, the art design specialty is changing with each passing day, and the professional division of labor is becoming more and more detailed. It is obviously not feasible for so many design disciplines and majors to adopt the single design sketch teaching form in the past, which ignores the directivity of different majors in design disciplines and is not suitable for every design major. Just as physical training and strength training are just the general knowledge base of all sports, each kind of sports has its own characteristic basic training, such as basketball needs to practice dribbling and shooting, and football needs to practice dribbling and shooting. Therefore, the author puts forward that each different design category must establish a set of teaching system of design sketch, which we can call professional sketch here, that is, professional design sketch which is closely connected with various majors step by step. 3. Teaching methods are outdated and students' innovative thinking ability is poor.

Sketch teaching in China has long followed the traditional teaching methods of Russian system and European traditional academic school, which enables students to master techniques and strengthen modeling ability, but lacks creative links. This teaching method limits the imagination of design students to some extent. Compared with traditional sketch, the main task of design sketch is no longer to reproduce objective things, but to find and express them. For designers, rich imagination and creativity are far more important than skilled skills. At present, some design colleges in China have made a series of adjustments and put forward the proposition of design sketch, but most of the teaching of design sketch still follows the traditional sketch teaching mode, without combining the professional characteristics of design specialty to cultivate students' design thinking.

Second, design sketch teaching reform measures

As early as 2007, the author put forward that the teaching content of design sketch in the basic education of art design must be reformed. After years of teaching practice, the author puts forward again today that at present, the teaching content of design sketch in most colleges and universities is only general knowledge, but lacks the teaching content of design sketch that matches with various design majors, so it is necessary to establish a professional design sketch teaching system suitable for different design majors. So how to establish the corresponding professional design sketch through professional characteristics? This is a problem that our teachers engaged in basic design teaching must solve.

1. Establish a general basic sketch course to provide support for the subsequent professional design sketch.

The teaching of design sketch should be a continuous whole from nature to sketch and then to design. In practice teaching, we should make a special and systematic study on the types and design factors of nature and sketch, pay attention to cultivating students' accurate modeling ability and rich spatial thinking ability, so that the foundation and specialty can be integrated, interlocking, and the teaching will be from shallow to deep, from easy to difficult, step by step.

2. Create a diversified professional sketch teaching system and teaching environment corresponding to professional teaching.

Different types of art design majors must also establish a set of professional design sketches suitable for their own design disciplines, focusing on cultivating students and the basic content of their major. Although the training of this kind of professional sketch may overlap or overlap with some courses, it is urgent to establish a professional sketch system suitable for all kinds of art design majors. The diversified development of art requires diversified teaching, and more attention should be paid to artistic practice teaching. For example, the professional design sketch of product modeling design can take the form of sketch training based on structural modeling; The majors of visual communication and advertising design can adopt the training form of creative sketch as the theme; Indoor space design should take a large number of research perspectives and decorative design sketches as the teaching direction; Landscape design can sketch a lot of natural scenery and human landscape as the teaching theme of design sketch. This kind of teaching doesn't have to be carried out indoors, but the classroom can be moved to nature to strengthen students' description of the natural environment and human landscape. Furniture design majors should not only learn traditional decorative sketches, but also let students learn more about the composition and structure of objects and the relationship between structures.

3. Pay attention to the cultivation and training of innovative ability.

At the same time, students' design thinking is developed through creative practice activities to improve their imagination and creativity.
