What are the popular folk stories?

1, the legend of pomegranate tree

Jade Emperor Temple has a long history and many ancient trees, among which boxwood and holly are over 200 years old. The pomegranate tree in the backyard for 600 years is even more striking. As the saying goes, pomegranate is as red as fire in summer, but this old pomegranate tree has white flowers and ginkgo. Opposite this old pomegranate tree is a robust little pomegranate tree with red flowers and red fruits and seeds.

They are old and young, and become a scene in the Jade Emperor Temple, which is called "the wonders of children's old age". Every June and July, red and white pomegranate flowers are particularly enchanting and beautiful. When pomegranate fruits are covered with branches, smile at tourists and have a special view.

Speaking of this 600-year-old pomegranate tree, there is a touching story: the revolutionary elders not only care about the safety of the people of the motherland, but also care about the survival of natural vegetation. 1964, someone tried to cut down this old pomegranate tree.

At this time, it happened that Vice President Dong was also in Yantai. After learning that someone was going to cut down this old tree with a long history, he said with emotion: "This old pomegranate tree that has gone through vicissitudes can't be killed. People can see how it has been passed down from generation to generation and become a witness of history." In this way, Dong listened, and the 600-year-old pomegranate tree came back to life.

Presumably, trees have feelings, and the old pomegranate tree has blossomed since then in order to repay Dong for saving his life. Therefore, it is not easy for us to enjoy this "wonder of children's old age" again today.

2. The Legend of Little Penglai Pavilion

Yuhuangding Park, also known as Little Penglai, includes a small Penglai Pavilion, also known as Lv Zu Temple. Because of an accidental coincidence, this building came into being in the second year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty. In the spring of the second year of Guangxu, there was no rain after a long drought. People who depend on the weather come to the Jade Emperor Temple to burn incense and beg for rain. Coincidentally, it was raining heavily.

Gong, a scholar in Qing Dynasty, moved the wooden statue of eggplant incense out of his home and built a temple to worship it. Lv Dongbin was blamed for the heavy rain, and this building was built to commemorate his achievements. Legend has it that seven other immortals later saw Lv Dongbin come here, so they came here together and got the name of Little Penglai Pavilion.

There are murals on the wall of Lvzu Temple, and on the left is a real dragon, which teaches Lv Dongbin to fight. On the right is Mr. Wen Fang, who teaches him piano, chess, calligraphy and painting. On the left of Lv Dongbin is a very nice boy, and on the right is the Black Sea, Lv Dongbin's apprentice Liu Shujing. It is said that when Lv Dongbin preached to him, he didn't listen attentively. Later, although he became a human being, he always kept a willow branch on his head.

3. Nu Wa made man

After Pangu became the earth, many kinds of creatures appeared on the earth. Many years later, an equally great figure, Nu Wa, appeared on the earth. Nu Wa found that although there are many creatures on the earth, they lack creativity.

So Nu Wa made a lot of villains out of yellow mud according to her own image. Because Nu Wa thought that these people should be a little different from herself, she changed the clay figurine's tail into two hind legs (feet). Later, she used magic to turn these little people into living people, who all have their own independent thoughts.

Shennong tried hundreds of herbs.

It is the most natural thing to be born and die, but those who die young because of "illness" are really worthy of sympathy. Shennong felt that he had a responsibility to protect his people, so he traveled all over China looking for herbs to treat patients. After finding them, he took them himself to determine whether they were useful or toxic. Finally, he found herbs that can treat many common diseases.

5. Houyi Shooting Day

Many years later (during the reign of Emperor Yao), there was a great drought in the world. There is a simple reason. Ten suns appear in the sky at the same time. In order to solve the problem of drought, Hou Yi trained a huge bow with infinite power. He injected magic into the bow, then climbed the mountain with it, condensed it into an invisible arrow with his magic, and led the bow to the sun. I want to shoot down all ten suns, but I think if they are all shot down,
