Miao Eating Festival
The Eating New Festival is also called the "New Harvest Festival". "It is one of the festivals of the Miao people who live in the middle and upper reaches of the Qingshui and Duiliu rivers. On that day, nearly 10,000 Miao compatriots from neighboring villages dressed in festive attire gathered in Pai Mo village to celebrate the festival by dancing the lusheng dance, singing Miao songs, bullfighting and other recreational activities***. The festival is a traditional festival of the Miao people in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and is held in the tenth month of the lunar calendar every year.
