This day is a good day for unmarried young people to fall in love. They went from village to village in search of their sweetheart. Young Miao men with long horns come to the door of their favorite girl's house with reeds, harpsichords, bamboo flutes, or pick a few leaves of wood and sing a song.

Dong nationality:

During the Spring Festival, a mass activity called "Playing Dong Year" (also called Lushenghui) prevailed among the Dong compatriots in Guizhou. This activity is similar to the "group worship" of the Han nationality, but it is more joyful and enthusiastic than the "group worship". At the end of the Lunar New Year, every household is busy playing flowers, brewing wine, killing pigs and posting Spring Festival couplets. However, there are still many Spring Festival activities unique to the Dong people, such as Dong Opera, singing and confinement, and group weddings.

Generally speaking, the performance begins in the morning, and after dinner, the Spring Festival performance will be held in the evening, which is convenient for the boys and girls in the troupe to "sing and sit on the moon" after the play.

No matter whether young men and women have feelings or not, non-cousins cannot get married. Now that marriage is free, "Drum Tower Snatching Chicken" has also evolved into a folk Spring Festival entertainment.

Buyi nationality:

The Spring Festival is the biggest festival for Buyi people. During the Spring Festival, every household is busy killing pigs, making glutinous rice Baba, bacon and sausages, and women will also bake rice wine (called "Biandang" in this rice wine dialect).

Gelao nationality:

Gelao people attach great importance to the annual Spring Festival. As soon as the "winter solstice" is over, they will enter the preparation period of New Year's Eve. They should not only offer sacrifices to their ancestors, the god of wealth and the four official gods, but also invite their close relatives and friends to eat "soup meat" at home.

Aquarium:

The Spring Festival in the Shui nationality area of Guizhou Province is celebrated in the sound of bronze drums. On the morning of the festival, several young people beat the bronze drums under the command of their elders.
