What are the methods of graphic design? How to master?
There are two main ways of addition operation: the first way: splicing or combining graphs of two or more elements, and the new graph obtained contains every element of addition, but the contour is no longer any of them, that is, it is all subgraphs of the new graph. The key to this addition is to find the points where elements can be skillfully connected or the perfect combination. ▲ The letter C is combined with a diamond ring. ▲ Clever connection between leaves and coffee cups.
▲ Guang Zhouta and the word "product" are combined into one. ▲ The letters U and H are combined. The second type: the figure obtained by merging element A into element B still maintains the general characteristics of element B in appearance, but element A is also perfectly integrated into it. That is, B is the parent graph and A is the child graph. The key to this method lies in whether element A can be perfectly integrated into element B. ▲ The gamepad is a child graphic and the hippo is a parent graphic. ▲ Love is the figure of a child, and the fox is the figure of a mother. ▲ Waves are sub-graphics and leaves are parent graphics. Example: treble symbol+eye Because the spiral in the middle of treble symbol is similar to the shape of eyeball, there is a premise of addition, but how to combine it better? We can try. First of all, I tried the first method, that is, using treble and eyes as sub-graphics of the new graphic, as shown below. Although the two elements have been well preserved, the shape is not very beautiful and concise. The lines of these two elements are not fused, but simply and rudely added. So I tried the second method, using treble as the sub-picture of the eyes, as shown below. The above picture perfectly connects the two elements. The whole picture is much simpler than the first scheme, and it still has high recognition, so this idea is more reliable. On this basis, the graphic design is completed by standardizing with auxiliary lines. That is, element A is deformed or added with a little auxiliary element to make it close to element B in shape, but the recognition of figure A is still maintained. The newly obtained figure is between figure A and figure B, and the premise of metaphor is that element A and element B are close in shape. ▲ Compare the palm of your hand to a pigeon through deformation. ▲ Compare the letter V to a deer's head through deformation. ▲ Compare the striped "M" to noodles by adding a pair of chopsticks. For example, compare love to a peach. The figure of love is similar to a peach in appearance, so we only need to add a small leaf to love to achieve our goal. However, the above picture is too conventional and has no sense of design and uniqueness, so I did a little treatment on love and formed a round effect, as shown below. The overall effect is ok. Next, we use auxiliary lines to draw this picture more standardized. The positive and negative shapes are also called yin and yang shapes, and the most typical one is Tai Chi diagram, that is, in a graph, the part full of color is a graph, and the part without color can also form a graph. Positive and negative graphs are usually closed or semi-closed Therefore, the key of positive and negative graphic design is to make the positive graphic clearly present a graphic, and also to make the negative space of the positive graphic become a graphic. Because the negative image is not as eye-catching as the positive image, the outline of the negative image must be as simple as possible with high recognition. In Logo design, English letters are most commonly used to make positive and negative graphics, because the English style is simple enough, and most of the letters are closed or semi-closed.
Example: The negative shape of the letter D is designed as the letter R. Because the letter D is a closed structure with a large negative space in the middle, it is very suitable for designing positive and negative figures. However, as can be seen from the following figure, the letter R with line structure is not suitable for the negative shape of D. Therefore, we need to deal with R to make it a plane figure, which is quite different before and after, but it still has the recognition of R. The adjusted R can be used as the negative form of D, and there are two combinations, one is fully closed. As can be seen from the figure below, the second scheme (semi-closed) is better and more special. Similarly, we also need to use. After the outline comes out, we can also add some details to orthoform to make it richer and more hierarchical. There are also some graphics that don't need to be completely created, and can be traced according to photographic pictures. For example, many logo graphics like to depict people's heads.
