What are the two systems of vision? What are their functions? What are the research results in both aspects?
What I know is that vision has two functional paths, the ventral path and the dorsal path. Ventral access is also called "what" access. Some areas of the visual cortex form a system involved in shape perception, starting from the striated cortex and ending in the lower temporal lobe. Dorsal pathway, also called' where' pathway, is a system formed by some areas of visual cortex, which participates in spatial position perception, starting from striated cortex and ending at the back of parietal lobe.
