The Glorious History of Nanyang Opera Troupe

In 1960, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and other state leaders watched the Troupe's Beijing performance of the play "Yan Jia Tan".

In 1991, the troupe performed the play "Green Mountain" in Beijing.

In 1998, Yanjiatan was brought to the screen and won the Huabiao Award.

In June 2002, Cao Gangchuan, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, watched "Trapped Emperor's Tomb" and received the actors and actresses.

In September 2002, the large-scale modern opera "Sting" won the gold medal and all the awards in the Ninth Henan Provincial Drama Competition.

In April 2003, "Sting" participated in the "Henan - Chang'an Opera Exhibition Week" and was performed in Beijing Chang'an Theater, which aroused wide acclaim from all walks of life in the capital. Nanyang "two festivals and one meeting" activities, important foreign reception performances, Henan TV "Liyuanchun" Nanyang show and other large-scale cultural performances, the United Nations experts acceptance of the Fuyushan World Geopark, the troupe had a colorful appearance.

September 2004, Nanyang City Opera Troupe on behalf of Henan Province in China's Seventh Arts Festival, a collection of artistic excellence, the strongest national stage, "Sting" won the "Wenhua New Repertoire Award", "Wenhua Director Award", "Wenhua Choreography Award", "Wenhua Performance Award", "Audience Favorite Actor Award" and other five national awards, creating a milestone in the history of Nanyang opera brilliant results.
