What does it mean to help the coffin?
Holding the coffin is holding the spirit. . . According to the funeral custom of the Han family, the old man died, and the next of kin, sons and nephews and the younger generation helped the spirits to attend the funeral.
When Chen Tingjing died, Kangxi wrote an elegiac couplet and sent a prince to help the coffin and escort the coffin home. The prince is the heaven, the monarch, and Chen Tingjing is the minister. Kangxi means to let the prince pay tribute to his sons and nephews as a sign of mourning and glory.
This is one of the highest honors that people and ministers can get, and there are also things like enjoying ancestral temples.
