Guanxi honey pomelo

Pinghe Guanxi honey pomelo is a famous local traditional fruit in Xiaoxi Town, Pinghe County, Fujian Province, which has been cultivated for more than 500 years. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, it was listed as a tribute of the imperial court, and the Tongzhi emperor gave the seal of "xipu Xinji" and a Qinglong flag as a tribute symbol and a ban. 1857, Shi Hongbao wrote in Fujian Miscellanies that "among all the fruits in Fujian, litchi is a beauty and Fuju is a celebrity. If you vote peacefully (that is, pomelo), you will be a chivalrous man, and your fragrance will be superior. " With its unique style, it was designated as a national high-quality agricultural product by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1989, won the Golden Cup in the National Seventh Five-Year Plan Achievement Expo, won the first place in the third national pomelo appraisal in 1994, and was awarded the honorary title of China Guanxi honey pomelo town by the relevant state departments in 1995. Guanxi honey pomelo is also the only pomelo variety in China that has passed the national crop product approval. Guanxi honey pomelo won the first place in the five national pomelo competitions with its unique quality, and its comprehensive index ranked first in the country, and it was known as the "king of pomelo". Guanxi honey pomelo has bright orange color and rich aroma, and its edible rate is over 55%. Wu Gengmin, a famous fruit tree expert in China and a first-class professor at Zhejiang Agricultural University, commented before the people's livelihood: "The fruit is large and thin, the flesh is seedless, the color is white as jade, the juice is rich and soft, leaving no dregs, sweet and slightly sour, and the taste is extremely eternal, which can be ranked as the crown of pomelo."

After careful cultivation from generation to generation, the scale of Guanxi honey pomelo has been growing.
