Elementary School Essay on My Hometown Tongren

My hometown, Tongren, has beautiful scenery and rivers running around the city. There is the picturesque Ten Mile Jinjiang River, the Crystal Pavilion with ancient trees, the East Mountain with pavilions, the majestic 'Wenpen Peak, and the colorful Folk Customs Garden ......

The Ten Mile Jinjiang River is the mother river of Tongren, and she nourishes the people here. The Jinjiang River is clear, with swarms of fish and shrimp, and there are wild ducks and egrets roosting here from time to time. If you canoe up the river, you will find that the river surface is sparkling, and from time to time there will be the sound of fishing boats singing in the evening. The willow trees on both sides of the Jinjiang River are low-hanging, sometimes there are three clusters of exotic flowers and fruits interspersed with them, and sometimes there are rows of classical old houses standing in front of the river, which is a bit like the scenery of the water town in the south of the Yangtze River. In May and June, the Jinjiang River is even more lively, the annual International Dragon Boat Race is held here, when the drums and gongs, singing and laughing together, if you do not see this scene, it is a pity. Jinjiang River is also a natural bath, whether it is the elderly or children, as long as the swimming enthusiasts, always like to swim in the river.

Ten miles of Jinjiang River brings us unlimited joy, but also a brightest landscape in Tongren. I love the Jinjiang River, more love Tongren!
