Approved by the State Council, the first China Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival (referred to as the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival") is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and the Sichuan Provincial Government and hosted by the Chengdu Municipal Government, the Provincial Department of Culture and the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center.

There will be a grand opening in Chengdu on May 23. This is the first international festival organized for the protection of intangible cultural heritage in our country and in the world. The "Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival" is not only the first in China, but also the first in the world.

From May 23 to June 10, the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival" will focus on the theme of "inheriting national culture, communicating human civilization, and building a harmonious world."
