From the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, the establishment of maritime transportation and trade institutions in past dynasties was accompanied by people's security. On the north and south banks of the lower reaches of Minjiang River, there were 28 battery groups in Qing Dynasty, and more than 200 cannons were installed. Jiang Bao is one of them. It is located on the "North Yanshan Mountain" in Nanban Village, an ancient town in Min 'an, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters. The whole fortress consists of Jiang 'an Fort, mountainside Fort, hilltop General Fort, armory, barracks and tunnels. It basically retains its original appearance and has a sense of historical vicissitudes. As an ancient fortress, it was still very strong more than 300 years ago.

Luoxing Pagoda is an internationally recognized navigation mark and the gateway symbol of Minjiang River. Two hundred years ago, foreign ships sailed out of Mawei, Fuzhou, and Luoxing Tower could be seen far away. Therefore, Luoxing Tower is also called "China Tower". At that time, letters mailed to Mawei from all over the world could be delivered as long as the world postal place name "PagodaAnchorage" of Luoxing Tower was written. Climbing to the top of the tower, you can get a panoramic view of the port and dock.

When punching in the Luoxing Tower, you must not miss the sign of "Luoling Benchmark". It is said that in order to avoid the frequent sinking of merchant ships, the Qing government invited German engineers to systematically observe the water level and discharge in the lower reaches of the Minjiang River, and determined "Luoxing Tower Zero" as the fixed observation mark of the lowest water level in the Luoxing Tower section of the Minjiang River, which was the first international water level standard in modern China. 1992 The whole country adopted Huanghai Zero and stopped Luoling Zero.
