3) Athletes registered in the Basketball Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport or chinese basketball association, who have participated in national youth leagues and professional national leagues (such as CBA league, CBL league, B league, club league, etc.). ) are not allowed to participate in the CUBA League;

6) Each athlete can only play five leagues at most.

If college athletes who meet Cuba's entry requirements are selected by local sports teams and clubs during their school days, they are not allowed to participate in professional national basketball leagues such as CBA and CBL while retaining Cuba's entry qualifications. In this case, athletes must make a choice.

Many NCAA players entered the NBA through the draft without graduating from college. Whether CUBA can consider the development of players and the needs of employers (professional clubs) and allow college students to participate in professional leagues during their school days needs to be explained. First of all, the higher education system in China is very different from that in the United States. In terms of student status management system, the United States adopts the credit system, and students can get a degree certificate as long as they complete the required credits. There is no rigid requirement for the number of years of study in school, which is very flexible. Most colleges and universities in China implement the academic year system, and the credit system implemented by some colleges and universities is not a complete credit system, but a credit system based on the academic year system, and the school study period can be extended by up to 2 years. Therefore, American college students can interrupt their studies and join the NBA, and use their spare time to complete the remaining credits and get a degree certificate. In addition to dropping out of school due to illness, college students in China must pass the examinations of related subjects within the study period stipulated by the state in order to get graduation certificates and degree certificates. If a college student player signs a labor contract with a professional club during his study at school and becomes a professional player, he is deemed to have dropped out of school automatically; Secondly, according to the Measures for the Administration of Registration and Exchange of Basketball Players in China, all college athletes who participate on behalf of CBL, CBA and other professional basketball league teams and clubs in the form of short-term exchange are deemed to have voluntarily waived their qualification for CUBA League. The NCAA League has more explicit and strict principle requirements, including a clear definition and detailed explanation of amateur and non-amateur, in order to maintain the fairness and justice of the League and the purity of amateur sports events.

Therefore, whether qualified college players have the opportunity to participate in professional leagues during their school days depends on the wishes of their schools and individuals. The Organizing Committee of CUBA League ensures that all college students get the right to participate in CUBA League on the premise of fairness and justice.
