"Chasing Love" is based on the Yao people's unique traditional custom of courtship: when the moon rises from the east mountain, young men gather in groups of three or five under the hammock of the girl they love to show their love with songs and dances. The girl wants to choose a man of her choice who is brave, intelligent and skillful, so they see who can climb up the tall wooden building without using the stairs, and the winner will win the girl's heart.
