Introduction of Guangfu dwellings
Guangfu folk houses usually refer to the buildings in the Greater Pearl River Delta and western Guangdong. Guangfu folk houses usually meet the requirements of ventilation and shading, which is also the same feature of Lingnan architecture. The typical Guangfu residence also has a great feature of "cymbals", which is named after the construction of two wind walls like cymbals on both sides of its house. Typical buildings include xiguan big house in Guangzhou, four famous gardens in Guangdong in Qing Dynasty (Qinghui Garden in Shunde, Yuyin Mountain House in Panyu, Keyuan Garden in Dongguan and Liangyuan Garden in Foshan), Kaiping Diaolou, Daqitou Village in Sanshui, Qiangang Village in Conghua and Dapeng Lock City in Shenzhen.
