On the Origin of Qinyuan from Spring and Snow in Qinyuan
Qinyuan is a royal garden built by Emperor Hanming in the Eastern Han Dynasty for his daughter Princess Qinshui. The park is located near the exit of Qinhe River in the northwest of Jiaozuo City. According to the Biography of Dou Xian in the Later Han Dynasty, Dou Xian, the uncle of Princess Qinshui, relied on her sister to be the queen, and even usurped the princess's back garden in disguise. Later generations lamented, mostly with poems, and gradually became a favorite epigraph of China literati, Qinyuanchun.
Qinyuanchun is the best combination of China traditional culture and Jiaozuo regional culture.
