Bamei Village is located at the junction of Ake Township and Badaxiang Township in the north of Guangnan County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The village is surrounded by mountains and the scenery is extremely magnificent. "Bamei" is a transliteration of Zhuang language, meaning "hole in the forest", hence the name of the village. It is located behind the water cave, which is described in Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Garden": "After dozens of steps, it suddenly becomes clear. The land is flat and spacious, so is the house. There are fertile fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry trees and bamboo. Bustling traffic, chickens and dogs hear each other. " The dreamy feeling of Xanadu.

It is not easy to reach Bamei Village. There is a natural limestone cave in front of and behind the village, and the water cave is about 800 meters long. Sitting on the boat, I watched the boatman cross the dark water hole with a bamboo pole. As we approached the entrance to the village, a bright light came into view, and then we could see small bridges, running water, waterwheels, green hills, flowers and houses, and we couldn't help feeling that this was the paradise! You can experience slow life here and feel the most natural pastoral scenery.

It is precisely because of its remote geographical location, long-term isolation from the outside world and being in a closed and semi-closed state that Bamei Village has a paradise-like beauty. Walking out of the cave, you can see the square fields neatly arranged in the village, occupying a vast world. Looking around, it is like a yellow-green ink painting made by heaven, which blooms the most beautiful colors between heaven and earth. This is a gift from nature to mankind. Seeing such beautiful scenery, anyone will be moved.

In fact, Bamei Village is a Zhuang village. The village is small, but people love each other and help each other, forming a United and friendly family. In fact, there used to be only three surnames in the village, and because people in the village have no contact with the outside world all the year round, only three surnames in the village can marry. With the long-term development, it has become more isolated and a real "Xanadu".

The limestone cave in front of and behind the village is also a beautiful scenery in the village. Huge stalactites hang in it, like people or animals, all kinds of strange shapes, making people feel as if they are in the fairy palace, illusory and magical, with endless reverie.
