What are the basic mechanisms in machinery?

The composition of machinery machinery is the general name of machines and institutions.

In order to meet the needs of production and life,

Machines with different functions have been designed and manufactured. Machines are devices that perform mechanical movements and are used to convert or transfer energy and substances, such as internal combustion engines, motors, washing machines, machine tools, automobiles, cranes and various food machinery. There are many kinds of machinery, with different uses, performances, structures and working principles. Usually, a complete machine consists of three basic parts:

(1) Power part: Its function is to convert other forms of energy into mechanical energy (for example, internal combustion engine and motor convert thermal energy and electric energy into mechanical energy respectively). The prime mover is the power source to drive the whole machine to complete the predetermined function.

(2) Working part (or executive part): Its function is to use mechanical energy to convert or transmit energy, materials and signals, such as generator to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, rolling mill to transform the shape of materials, and so on.

(3) Transmission part: Its function is to convert the motion form, motion and power parameters of the prime mover into the motion form, motion and power parameters required by the working part.

All the above three parts must be installed on the supporting parts. In order to make the three basic parts work in harmony and complete the overall function accurately and reliably, it is necessary to increase the control part and the auxiliary part.

All machines are made up of many mechanical parts. Mechanical parts can be divided into two categories: one is commonly used parts in various machines, called general parts, such as gears, sprockets, worm wheels, bolts, nuts and so on. The other is only used for certain types of machines, called special parts, such as crankshaft and turbine blades of internal combustion engines. According to the functional and structural requirements of the machine, some parts need to be fixedly connected into a rigid combination without relative movement, and become an independent moving unit in the machine, usually called parts. The difference between a part and a part is that the part is the basic unit of motion, while the part is the processing unit.

Mechanism: there is a component system with definite relative motion, in which two or more components are based on the frame and connected in a certain way through kinematic pairs.

Parts: relative moving units that make up a mechanism Parts: The basic units that make up a machine are called parts; A group of parts that are structurally combined to accomplish the same task are called parts. Parts are moving units in the machine, and parts are manufacturing units.

The mechanism is composed of several members with definite relative motion, which can realize the transmission of motion and power.

Just like a mechanism, a machine is composed of several parts, each part has definite relative motion, which can realize the transmission of motion and power and the conversion of mechanical energy and other forms of energy.

The difference between machine and mechanism is that machine can replace human labor to realize energy conversion or do useful work, while mechanism does not have this function.

Machinery is the general name of machines and institutions.
