Do you know the origin of chronology? When did China adopt this chronology?
China adopts the Gregorian calendar 1949.
Time sequence method is adopted. This was decided through consultation at the first plenary session of the China People's Political Consultative Conference in September. At the meeting, everyone agreed that it should be in line with the world, that is, the year of new China should be AD. On September 27th, the second of the four resolutions adopted at the first plenary session of the China People's Political Consultative Conference was: "The year number of People's Republic of China (PRC) adopts AD". However, China's calendar and summer calendar are still used to calculate traditional festivals in China, such as Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, etc. (New Year's Day in China has been changed to Gregorian New Year's Day).
