It is a great honor to attend the first lecture hall of citizen morality in Ninghai County. The theme of this lecture hall is "Carry forward the traditional culture of China and be a moral person", and the purpose of the lecture hall is "to build a harmonious society and reproduce the prosperous times of China".

Speaking of the word "China culture", people will naturally think of a sentence called "China culture, with a long history and profound knowledge", which is a common sentence used in textbooks to describe the traditional culture of China. However, if asked what is the traditional culture of China, how many people can answer it? It is such a question that caused my reflection. As a China native, a Chinese descendant and a Chinese son, I don't know what China traditional culture is. I think this is something that makes me feel ashamed, and it is even more painful.

Although it is only four days' study time, I have benefited a lot and have a deep understanding. I don't have any qualification and ability to explain what China traditional culture is, because even I am on the way to understand and learn China tradition. I know I will spend my whole life studying and practicing the wisdom and truth handed down by ancient sages thousands of years ago! What I can do is to be a China person-carry forward and inherit the traditional culture of China, and be a moral China person!

Let's talk about my feelings of studying these four days!

The whole learning process of the lecture hall is free, besides free lunch and study materials, there are also free souvenirs! Such public welfare activities are rare. As far as I know, more than 500 volunteers attended the lecture hall. I think everyone knows what "volunteers" are, that is, they don't get paid for their work except doing the dirtiest and most tiring work. What I want to say is not only the concept of volunteers, but their respectable character. When people bow to each other, regardless of age, they are called "teachers". Every time the audience applauds, the volunteers standing next to them will. Among these volunteers, from people in their eighties to children in their teens, in my opinion, where can they be called "teachers"? They are the teachers I want to learn and respect!

These volunteers left a deep impression on me. I just want to say thank you, thank you!

Every day after I arrive at the meeting place, I will read Disciples Rules. More than 3,000 people in the audience read classics, and some even never forget them. What I remember most clearly is "parents should not slow down;" Parents, don't be lazy. " This is the truth of being a son. A lecturer said that the traditional culture of China can be summarized in one word, that is, filial piety and virtue. Another lecturer said, "Disciple Rules" is not only a rule for children, but also a rule for being a man. Indeed, many of them are principles of doing things. Treat parents "the call of parents should not be delayed;" Parents, don't be lazy "; Treat brothers and friends, to achieve "brothers and friends, brothers respect each other; "Brothers are awkward and filial piety is in the middle"; Treat your behavior "get up early and go to bed late;" Old and easy, cherish this time "; Getting along with others means "loving everyone"; The sky is the same, the earth is the same, and so on.

I won't elaborate on the content of the lecture, because I can't explain and describe it clearly in a few words.

In one lecture after another, the moving part can make people cry, and the exciting part can make people feel numb. A few times, I choked up and bowed my head with tears. At the closing ceremony, when watching the lecture tidbits, I saw a line on the screen: volunteers can't bear to waste a grain. On the screen, there are volunteers who clean up lunch boxes. They are smiling and eating leftovers from lunch boxes brought back from the audience. Some of them also saw the camera. At this time, I can't see the scene of them eating leftovers anymore. I couldn't hold back the tears in my eyes any longer, so I lowered my head and let them slide down my cheeks. My face hurts and my heart is more like a needle. All I can think about is "Don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you". Although I have eaten all the food in the past four days, I still feel deep guilt and pain.

Perhaps, I am still young and ignorant in the face of Chinese traditional culture that has been passed down for 5,000 years, but I know that I have the obligation and responsibility to carry forward and inherit Chinese traditional culture, which is particularly important today!
