Chongqing Yongchuan Industrial Park Culture
The cultural heritage is profound. The dinosaur and lycopodium fossils in Yongchuan, the upper reaches of the river, are world-famous, and the tea culture, stone culture and bamboo culture have a long history. Stone axes and anchors unearthed are about 6000 years old. Stone records in the Eastern Han Dynasty, portraits in the Han Dynasty, grottoes in the Song Dynasty, Dongcheng ruins in the Tang and Song Dynasties, Mo Yan statues in the Ming Dynasty, Anbailiao ruins, etc. all have high ornamental value. The profound cultural heritage gave birth to such celebrities as Huang Kaiji, the magistrate of Taiwan Province in the Qing Dynasty, Liu Angong, secretary of the Military Commission of the Red Fourth Army, and Xu Daodao, a famous painter, microbiologist and geographer known as "Oriental Van Gogh". Yongchuan is the training base of China Chess Team, China Taekwondo Training Base and Chongqing Creation Center of China Artists Association.
