China's famous traditional bamboo wind instruments

The famous traditional bamboo wind instruments in China are flute and Xiao.

1, flute

Di Zi is the oldest Chinese musical instrument discovered so far, and it is also the most representative and national musical instrument among Chinese musical instruments. As one of the woodwind instruments commonly used in China traditional music, China bamboo flute is generally divided into Qu Di in the south, Bangdi in the north and alto flute in between. Generally, the range can reach more than two octaves.

2. Xiao (surname)

Xiao can be divided into two types, one is vertical, and the other is vertical, which is a very ancient Han wind instrument. Xiao has a long history, mellow and soft timbre, quiet and elegant, suitable for solo and ensemble. Generally, it is made of bamboo, with pores at the upper end. According to the number of "sound holes", it is divided into six-hole flute and eight-hole flute. The sound holes of the six-hole flute are the first five and the last, and the eight-hole flute is the first seven and the last. Eight-hole flute is the product of modern improvement.

Maintenance of flute

1, flute box protection

Professional flute players have a flute box. If there is no flute box, you can make a cloth cover (preferably made of sandwich or cotton), and it is best to make a wide one, narrow in summer and narrow in winter. Put the flute in on weekdays. If there is no cover or box, you can find a clean cloth to wrap it up, which can prevent wind, sun and dust.

2, flute protection

When the weather is too hot or too dry, it is best to make a "flute bladder" (use a small stick with the same length as the flute tube, wrap several layers of clean cloth and put some oil on it), and when it is not blowing, it can be stuffed into the flute tube to prevent the flute body from breaking. The thickness of "flute airbag" should adapt to the thickness of flute tube. If it's thick, it won't fit in. If it's thin, it won't touch the bamboo wall and won't play the role of moistening the flute.
