In general, direct-drive technology can make the equipment processing efficiency increased by 3-5 times, accuracy increased by 3-5 times, so that the comprehensive value of the equipment increased by 3-5 times. To machine tools, for example, the ordinary use of mechanical transmission CNC machine tools priced at 30-50 million yuan, the use of direct-drive technology, high-precision CNC machine tools can be sold to 1-2 million yuan.
The use of direct-drive technology has become a symbol of foreign technology leaders in the field of CNC machine tools; will also become the focus of the domestic technology competition in the field of CNC machine tools. Direct-drive technology at home and abroad, the technical level of large differences, the international community began to apply in the early 1990s, and now enter the popularization stage; domestic research only began in the mid-1990s, and successful applications are still relatively small. Imported direct-drive parts and components are expensive, and suppliers use bundled sales strategy to consolidate its monopoly, and there is a risk of embargo, in fact, large, high-precision direct-drive CNC machine tools are embargoed.
