How to upgrade a credit card to a bank card?

China Merchants Bank Card cannot be upgraded to a credit card. If you need to use China Merchants Bank credit card, please apply as much as possible. Whether the application can be successful is subject to system review.

The most important condition for applying for China Merchants Bank credit card is 18-60 years old (25-60 years old for foreigners), with certain economic ability and good credit record. Please refer to the actual audit of our credit card application results. The necessary application documents are copies of identity certificate and work certificate. If you can provide other financial documents, it will be more helpful for us to understand your personal situation and judge the credit limit.

If you are interested in CMB credit card, but have never held our credit card, you can apply in the following four ways:

1. Please log on to the credit card website and select "Apply for Credit Card"-"Apply for New Customer";

2. Please bring your original identity certificate, work certificate and financial documents to the business outlets of China Merchants Bank in person;

3. You can also call the customer service hotline, select "3#" in the voice for credit card application consultation, and then select "1" to transfer the service specialist to register for you, and inform our local staff to contact you to confirm the application.

4. If you have applied for the professional version of our online banking, you can apply through the professional version.
