Biographies of Ancient Chinese Celebrities
Confucius (551-479 BC) was named Qiu (丘), Zhongni (仲尼), English name: Confucius. September 28, 551 BC (lunar calendar August 27) was born in the State of Lu Zouyi Changping Township (now southeast of Qufu City, Shandong Province, Lu Yuan Village); April 11, 479 BC (Lunar February 11) died at the age of 72 years old, buried in the city of Qufu, north of the Surabaya water, that is, the location of today's Confucius Grove.
