Style characteristics of Yunnan lanterns

There are not many traditional repertoires of Lantern Opera, except for the Yunnan drama items that moved in during the period of "Lantern Clip Opera", there are about 200 * *. The tune of Lantern Festival has three parts. One is all kinds of folk songs, some are local products, such as "Ten Sisters", and some are popular all over the country, such as "Sizhou Tune" and "Ten Cups of Wine". Followed by Ming and Qing ditties, such as "Parasitic Grass" and "Jujube Stem"; Thirdly, it is absorbed from other genres and operas, such as the high-pitched tune sung in Tengchong Lantern Opera "An An Delivers Rice", the blowing tune absorbed in the drama "Little Cowherd" and the Yunnan Opera aria used in Yuanmou Lantern Opera.

Lantern dance is an important part of Yunnan Lantern Festival. Traditional lantern dances include dances without singing, such as lion dancing and monkey playing cotton, and collective singing and dancing, such as lotus fragrance and pulling flowers. At first, the business of Yuanxiao was only divided into men and women, and later it was divided into three businesses: longevity, Dan and ugliness. During the Lantern Festival, many large and medium-sized plays were performed, and other businesses were added.
