At the beginning of June this year, the Shanghai police found that there were many shops in Huangpu District selling anime handmade toys, with rough goods and suspected counterfeit products. After police inspection, it was found that these toys involved many brands such as Bandai, Meigewu, Wanbo and Nintendo. After confirmation with the right company, the police identified the toys as counterfeit and shoddy products with trademark infringement. Immediately, the police launched a case investigation.

Upon investigation, the above-mentioned infringing handmade toys were purchased by the shopkeepers from two newly-opened online stores, namely "A China Toy" and "A Toy Family". At the same time, the police also investigated that the two men operated a physical store in an international toy city in Guangzhou. According to relevant statistics, the police found that the offline sales of these toys ranged from dozens to hundreds of boxes every day.

After further investigation, the police found that a large van regularly delivered infringing products to a warehouse in Guangzhou at noon every day, and the goods were all from Dongguan Haohao Animation Plastic Products Co., Ltd.

On August 8, with the strong cooperation of the local police, the Shanghai police launched a centralized network collection operation in Guangzhou, Dongguan and other places, and successfully arrested 25 suspects including Ke Moxin and Weng Moufeng. "We have closed the net with the local police. More than 6,543,800 fake anime handmade toys were seized at the scene. It is estimated that the value involved is about 300 million yuan, and the online sales situation is still being confirmed.
