1, Dragon Boat Race

The history of dragon boat racing in Shunde can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty, when dragon boat rowing was popular in all towns and villages in the county. Today, there is a stone tablet in Beishui Village of Xingtan during the Kangxi period in the city museum. There are two kinds of dragon boats: Youlong and Sailong. Youlong, with a large body and beautiful decoration, is called Dragon Boat, with the emphasis on cruising and displaying costumes. Sailong is very small, called dragon boat, ranging from three radius to fifteen radius, focusing on racing.

2. Dragon boat rap

Dragon boat rap is a folk rap art, which originated in the Qing Dynasty and was popular in counties and Guangzhou dialect areas before the 1950s, with Shunde dialect as the authentic dialect. The performance team is formed by the cabinet as a unit. The performance of gongs and drums was popular in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, especially in Xingtan and Jun 'an.

5. Longjiang burned cannons

Burning firecrackers is one of the folk activities in Shunde rural areas in the past, which originated from temple fairs. Moreover, most of them were carried out during the local rural temples and shrines, and bamboo fences were temporarily built in front of the temples, which was euphemistically called gratitude and praying for the royal family. Burning guns is a rare event among people in Longjiang, and it is also very particular.
