Synopsis
"Papa Papa" is a short and medium-sized novel by Han Shao Gong, and one of his most famous works from more than thirty years of writing.
Han Shaogong's middle grade novel "Papa Papa" demonstrates a closed, stagnant, ignorant and backward form of national culture in a symbolic and allegorical way by depicting the historical changes of a primitive tribe, the Jitouzhai.
The main character of the work is an idiot, Cui, and through his portrayal of him, he outlines a certain kind of deformed and pathological way of thinking about traditional culture, which expresses the writer's profound reflection on and criticism of traditional culture. Cub is a little old man who is "aging before he grows old" but never grows up, with a strange and obscene appearance, who can only say two words over and over again: "dad dad" and "x mom". "x-mom". But such a lack of rationality, language, confusion, but the character of the chicken head Zhai all villagers worship, is regarded as the yin and yang two trigrams, honored "C Xianggong", "C grandfather," "C fairy!
