What are the self-exercise methods of Qigong?
Qigong is divided into hard qigong and static qigong. Static kung fu is commonly known as qigong. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, qi refers to the air that people breathe and the inherent "vitality" of the human body. Practicing qigong is to exercise the inner "vitality" of the human body, and the so-called "qi is breathing". Practicing Qigong is to enhance the body's resistance to diseases, adaptability to the surrounding environment and adaptability in the body.
Qigong has a unique set of "self-exercise" methods, including body adjustment (posture), qi adjustment (breathing) and heart adjustment (nerves). These three factors are interrelated and mutually restricted. To practice qigong, we must master these three essentials. Adopt "introverted" exercise method, actively control consciousness, master your own internal movements, mobilize and enhance the functions of various organs of the body, and stimulate the internal potential of the body.
