Characteristics of Han nationality's national costumes
Hanfu is a traditional costume of the Han nationality. Hanfu, also known as clothes, clothes and Chinese clothes, is the embodiment of China's "country of clothes", "country of etiquette" and "splendid china", bearing the excellent craftsmanship and aesthetics of China, and inheriting more than 30 intangible cultural heritages of China and the protected arts and crafts of China.
Similar to the word "Han", the extension of the word "Han" in Hanfu also has a process of expanding from the Han Dynasty to the national reference. For example, in Jane Eyre, the four beauties who first recorded Hanfu, two wearing Chu clothes and two wearing Hanfu, refer to the dress etiquette system in the Han Dynasty, that is, Zhou Li.
According to Schumann in the Tang Dynasty, "Hanfu" refers to the dress etiquette system of the Han people.
The Origin and Formation of Han Costume
According to some ancient books, the Han people (and their ancestors) have a unique clothing system. For example, Historical Records holds that "Hanfu was made by the Yellow Emperor". "Before the Yellow Emperor, there were no clothes and houses. The Yellow Emperor built houses, made clothes and held funerals, and the people avoided the difficulties of survival." Before there was no archaeological data to support it, Hanfu first appeared in the Yin and Shang Dynasties.
About 5,000 years ago, during Yangshao Culture in Neolithic Age, primitive agriculture and textile industry appeared in China, and clothes were made of woven linen. Huang Di's wife, Ai Zu, invented sericulture and spinning, and people's clothes and costumes became more and more complete.
After the Shang Dynasty, the system of crown service was initially established, and in the Western Zhou Dynasty, the service system was gradually improved, forming a chapter service system with the "emperor's crown service" as the core. "Enjoying Yin and serving Zhou Zhimian" is the essence of Confucian thought of governing the country, which draws lessons from the ritual and music system of Xia and Shang Dynasties.
