About Tteokbokki
Teppanyaki is a cooking utensil made of flat iron bars with a round outer frame for roasting meat. It was first used to make it easier to disassemble and move around, but later it was realized that the gaps between the iron bars were just enough to allow the grease from the roast to drip off, making the meat taste less greasy, and at the same time allowing the meat to be heated up better, and so the roast came into being.
