As a state of etiquette in China, what etiquette customs have Shandong preserved so far?

As the hometown of Confucius, Shandong has inherited the Confucian culture for thousands of years. After the development of many Confucian figures, Confucian culture has formed an all-encompassing code of conduct for people. This includes the etiquette of people interacting with each other. To say that folk etiquette persists, this sentence is very specific and indecent when it comes. Ceremony refers to the prescribed rhythm of the other party's behavior and speech, and instrument is the gift of the other party's dress and gift.

Qilu is a country of etiquette. With the progress of society, people's mutual etiquette, including folk etiquette, is becoming more and more civilized and healthy.

Since Shandong is the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, it is bound to be deeply influenced. Confucianism itself is based on etiquette, which advocates the etiquette system, etiquette, etiquette and etiquette order in the Western Zhou Dynasty. It is based on "filial piety" and loyalty, and realizes "benevolence" in the order of up and down, intimacy, men and women, and left and right, thus realizing the good order of princes and imperial powers. Later, after transformation, deepening and perfection, it was used by feudal imperial power for more than two thousand years. Since then, despite the revolution of 1911, especially the earth-shaking changes in New China, due to its inertia, there are still many remnants among the people (mainly rural areas):

1. Funerals are still complicated in some places. There are detailed rules for mourning, shroud, double mourning, mourning for men and women, and there are detailed rules for mourning cards, spiritual sails, mourning periods, paper codes and welcoming guests (it is difficult to elaborate);

2, marriage, funeral, big festivals, sacrifices and kowtowing, its attention is not casual. Old, tall, official and noble are respected. Men should kneel on their left leg first, and women should kneel on their right leg first. Men should bow with heavy palms or fists, and women should cross their hands separately.

3. Prefer boys to girls. In rural areas, not having children is still regarded as a last resort, and some girls are still regarded as outsiders;

4. Some family values and family consciousness are still very strong. If the adopted children are still discriminated against for some reason, then etiquette is also excluded from the national and clan rules. Hands-on, family members break up in discord or lead to tragedy ...;

5. Not only in Shandong, but also in the surrounding areas, especially in the former Beijing-Tianjin Zhili area, Manchu customs and Confucianism are mixed, such as robes and mandarin jackets. It is not clear whether it is Confucian etiquette or Qing etiquette that women wear gowns after death. All the above are old customs and habits, but I don't think they are positive and in line with the times.

Promoting excellent traditional culture should not be superficial, but should be innovative to serve the present!
