Knowledge of Yuncheng history and culture
There are three historical and cultural symbols of Yuncheng:
One, Yuncheng Salt Pond: also known as Xiezhou Salt Pond, known as the Dead Sea of China, one of the world's three major sodium sulfate-type inland salt lakes, and also one of the country's famous salt-producing places, salt production history of more than 4,000 years. Historically, in order to fight for the Hedong Salt Pond, the Yellow Emperor fought two wars with Chi You and Yan Di respectively, i.e. the historically famous Battle of Zhuo Deer and the Battle of Hanquan. The victory of these two wars, so that the Yellow Emperor firmly in control of the Hedong Salt Pond, in charge of the main economic lifelines of the Central Plains, and ultimately become the leader of the tribes, access to the "Chinese Patriarch" of the revered status.
Second, Alexandria Pusan Shun Emperor Mausoleum: The Records of the Grand Historian recorded that Shun was born in Pusan (now Yongji City), fished in Wooze (now Yangcheng County), plowed in Alexandria, and finally settled in Pusan. There is no doubt that the birthplace of Emperor Shun was in Hedong. Although the traces of Shun Pu Ban in today's Yongji City has been thousands of merciless years of cold wind and rain washed away, but the canonical historical data on the chiseled words, Yuncheng people have been dedicated to protect the Shun Emperor's mausoleum beliefs.
Three, Yuncheng Longmenkou: Hejin in ancient times, there is a big mountain, called Longmen Mountain. Dragon Gate Mountain towered over the river valley, blocking the river, which thus became very narrow. The river became very narrow, and the raging water rushed up the embankment and flooded the river. Legend has it that Yu was ordered by Emperor Yao to rule the water, so much so that he was not able to enter his house. Finally, Jiu Ji, who learned his father's lesson of ruling the water, changed the blockage into a dredge and decided to excavate the Dragon Gate, and finally cut a big hole in the Dragon Gate Mountain, so that the river flowed freely from then on.
Yuncheng's famous historical figures
1, Guan Yu, the word Yun Chang, the word Changsheng, Hedong County Xiexian people, the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty famous general. Guan Yu was a famous general in the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty. In his early years, Guan Yu died in his hometown and took refuge in Zhuo County, where he and Zhang Fei started an army from Liu Bei. In the Zuo Zhuan (左传), Guan Yu is said to have treated the soldiers well and was proud of the generals, and was known for his loyalty and righteousness in later times. After the death of Guan Yu, he was honored as the Duke of Guan by the people and praised by the imperial court in the past dynasties. Yongzheng period of the Qing dynasty, honored as the "Sage of Martial Arts", and the "Sage of Literature" Confucius status.
2, Wang Bo, the word Zian, Jiangzhou Longmen (present-day Hejin, Shanxi Province), China's Tang Dynasty literati, poets, with Yang Jiong, Lu Zhaolin, Luo Binwang to poetry and literature, known as "Wang Yang Lu Luo," also known as the "Four Heroes of the Early Tang Dynasty". Wang Bo advocated that literature should be based on the "speech and vision", focusing on the role of literature in the education of the world, and played a great role in transforming the poetry style represented by Shangguan Yi in the literary world at that time.
