Tumor markers common tumor markers in physical examination

Common physical examination items can be divided into the following categories: ① Serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA): the normal value is less than or equal to 3.45 μ g/L, and CEA was initially found to be increased in patients with colon cancer. Later, it was found that 30% of patients with gastric cancer, urethral carcinoma's disease, ovarian cancer, lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, medullary thyroid cancer, bladder cancer and cervical cancer had elevated serum CEA. (2) Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP): AFP is the earliest tumor marker, and it is a commonly used examination item for diagnosing primary liver cancer. About 87% of patients with primary liver cancer have AFP as high as 20 μ g/L or above. ③ Prostate-specific antigen (PSA): The normal value is less than 4 μ g/L, and the positive rate in prostate cancer is as high as 30% ~ 86%, and its rising level is closely related to tumor. ④ Chorionic gonadotropin (HCG): The blood concentration of normal people is less than 5 μ g/L, such as choriocarcinoma and embryonal malignant teratoma of testis and ovary, HCG can be increased, and the content of HCG in blood and urine is related to prognosis.
