About Xi'an Qinqiang Theater
It is a public institution under the Administrative Committee of Xi'an Qujiang New District. Xi'an Qinqiang Theater was formed by the merger of four troupes: Xi'an Yichang Society, Xi'an Qinqiang First Troupe, Xi'an Qinqiang Second Troupe (Xi'an Youth Art Troupe), and Xi'an Wuyi Drama Troupe. In order to protect and utilize the brand of Qinqiang art, and to facilitate the Qinqiang performance for the market, the theater has two unincorporated branches, Xi'an Yiqun Society and Xi'an Sanyi Society.
