How many kinds of gypsum board?

There are three kinds of gypsum boards in China: paper gypsum board, fiber gypsum board and hollow gypsum lath:

Function

1, sound insulation. With thin panels composed of double-layer separated sound insulation wall and hollow slats composed of double-layer sound insulation wall, its sound insulation effect is about equivalent to 24 cm thick brick wall, sound insulation index up to 40 ~ 50 dB.

2, fireproof. Gypsum board is a non-combustible material with certain fireproof performance, and some of them can be used as fireproof protection layer of steel structure.

3, strength. When the lateral load of the wall is 250Pa, the maximum lateral deformation of the wall is not more than 1/240 of the height of the wall.

4, humidity regulation. When the humidity in the air is greater than its own moisture content, gypsum board can absorb the moisture in the air; on the contrary, the gypsum board can release the moisture in the board, which can play a role in regulating the humidity in the indoor air.
