Ancient four-petal flower symbolism

The four-petal flower pattern, also known as the "four-petal eye pattern", is one of the bronze decoration, is a traditional Chinese decorative pattern.

Four-petal floral pattern in the center of the square ding, around the composition of four petals, some of the surrounding fill in the thunder pattern. Generally constitute a two-square continuous pattern, for edge decoration. Mostly seen in the Shang Dynasty. During the Warring States period, there are still, with slight variations in the pattern.

The modern symbolizes luck. The first petal represents true love, the second petal represents health, the third petal represents honor, and the fourth petal represents wealth.
