Two ways of circumferential milling
1. Cylindrical milling: Cylindrical milling refers to placing a workpiece on the workbench of a milling machine, and processing the outer circumferential surface of the workpiece by using an arc milling cutter or other suitable tools to control the motion trajectory of the milling cutter. In the process of machining, the milling cutter will cut along the outer contour of the workpiece, so that the outer circumferential surface of the workpiece can reach the required shape and accuracy.
2. Inner circumference milling: Inner circumference milling refers to machining in the inner hole of the workpiece. This kind of machining requires the use of special tools, such as arc milling cutter and ball milling cutter. The cutter will enter the inner hole of the workpiece and control the movement track of the cutter to cut the inner circumferential surface of the workpiece. When the accuracy and surface quality of machining holes are high, such as machining bearing seat holes, internal milling is often used.
