Are traditional settlements all cultural heritage?

No. Only those listed in the intangible cultural heritage list are world-class cultural heritage.

Settlement ecological culture is an extremely important part of human cultural ecosystem. Traditional settlement is the result of the interaction between human activities and natural environment in historical period, which records the social, economic, political, cultural and folk information at that time from different aspects. Therefore, we should protect valuable memorial sites, buildings and sites in settlements and handle the relationship between settlement development and protection.
