Practice of Handmade Dragon Boat for Primary School Students

Pupils make dragon boats by hand as follows:

Tools/raw materials: tricolor cardboard, scissors, scissors, pencils, glue, colored paper, transparent glue, cardboard.

1. Draw a long box on the cardboard as the main body of the dragon boat. The hull of a dragon boat can be represented by a long box. Here, a long box is drawn on the cardboard as the main body of the dragon boat.

2. After drawing the edge line of the long box, cut the edge of the box along the line with scissors, and pay attention to keeping it neat.

3. After cutting out the shape edge of the three-dimensional box, fold it according to the drawn lines to fold the three-dimensional box.

4. Then stick the folded boxes on both sides with transparent glue and fix them, and the outline of the hull will come out roughly.

5. After folding a piece of colored paper in half, draw an image of the faucet on the paper with a pencil. Then hold the folded paper tightly and cut out the pattern with scissors, so that two faucet patterns can be cut out at the same time.

6. After folding a piece of colored paper in half, draw the image of the dragon tail on the paper with a pencil. Then hold the folded paper tightly and cut out the patterns with scissors, so that two dragon tail patterns can be cut out at the same time.

7. Take out the brightly colored cardboard, and then draw the dragon horn, dragon beard and other figures in different colors on the cardboard, and cut them out along the line, as shown in the figure below.

8. Then draw dragon boat decorative graphics, boating and other graphics on cardboard with different colors, and cut them out along the line.

9. Then divide the cut figures into two groups, because the dragon boat has two sides. If it is divided into two groups and pasted on the box, it will be more stereoscopic and vivid.

10. Then, according to the image of the dragon boat, glue a group of figures representing various parts of the dragon boat.

Then paste the graphics of each part of the dragon boat on the box, the dragon head should be pasted in the box, the dragon tail should be assembled behind the box, and the decorative paintings and paddles should be pasted directly on the box. Pay attention to the color matching of decorative graphics.

12. Only one side of the dragon boat is burnt, and the paper jam will shake a little. Then paste a set of graphics on the other side of the dragon boat to increase the three-dimensional sense, as shown below. In this way, a complete hand-made dragon boat image will be done.
