Gannan Wai House, also known as Gannan Hakka Wai House, is the mother of the whole Hakka residence. It is a large-scale closed defensive traditional residential building with three functions of home, fortress and shrine. The local people call Tuweizi or Shuiweizi, which is a Hakka residence on the border of southern Jiangxi.
