What's the difference between Catalonia and Taiwan Province and China?

Similar to Catalonia, Taiwan Province Province has its own army and independent government system, both of which have been colonized or occupied, and both of which are relatively rich areas in the country.

The difference is that the Spanish government symbolically collects a certain amount of tax from Catalonia every year in order to show its affiliation. Although there are frequent tax protests, Taiwan Province Province is a completely independent economic, political and diplomatic system, trying to avoid financial entanglement with the mainland; Catalonia has no diplomatic relations since Franco, while Taiwan Province Province has a certain number of diplomatic relations. Catalonia's biggest independent capital is independent culture and people's confidence, while Taiwan Province's biggest capital is the support of the United States and Japan.
