What are the requirements to join China Zhi Gong Party

According to Article 1 of Chapter 1 of the Constitution of the China Zhigong Party, any person who is a member of the middle and upper classes of the returned overseas Chinese, overseas Chinese dependents, and other representative persons with overseas relations, as well as any representative middle- and high-level intellectuals in other areas, and who recognizes and is willing to abide by the Constitution of the China Zhigong Party, may apply for membership in the China Zhigong Party.

The process of joining the CPC is as follows: those who request to join the Party must apply by themselves, fill in the application form, be introduced by two Party members, undergo an investigation, be discussed and approved by the branch general meeting or the branch committee, be reported to the municipal organization at or above the district level for approval, and be reported to the central government for the record at each level. If necessary, the central government and the committees of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government may directly absorb party members.

The China Zhigong Party (CZGP) is a political party with the characteristics of a political alliance composed mainly of middle and upper class members of the returned overseas Chinese and their families, and other representative persons with overseas ties, who are committed to the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It was founded on October 10, 1925 in San Francisco, U.S.A. It was initiated by the Hongmen Zhigong General Association of America, an overseas Chinese association. In the long practice of revolution and construction, the CPC has formed the fine tradition of consciously accepting the leadership of the CPC, cooperating closely with the CPC, loving the motherland, being committed to the public good, being united and striving for progress, and firmly following the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
