What is Hebi's specialty food?

Hebi's specialties are: sticky fire, steamed buns with black sesame seeds, duck eggs wrapped in silk in Qihe River, Yuanxiao in Jiaochang camp, uncooked rice in Wu Jihua under the temple, tofu skin in Wang Qiao, Xun County, roast chicken in Yixing River, tribute noodles in Liyang, Wuzhuang noodles, steamed buns in Xun County and so on.

1. Sticking fire is one of the traditional famous foods in Xun County, Hebi City, which began in the late Qing Dynasty. It is made of yellow rice and red dates.

Its characteristics: golden color, publicity but not scattered, sweet and delicious.

2. Black sesame steamed stuffed bun is a local traditional dish, made of black sesame, sugar, lard and glutinous rice.

Its characteristics: round, golden yellow, soft and delicious. Very distinctive.

3. The duck egg wrapped in silk in Qihe River is a kind of duck egg, which is produced in Qixian County of Hebi City and Hejia, Xujiagou and Jia Zhu along Qihe River in qibin district. It was a tribute in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Its characteristics are: a large, double yolk, yellow-red after cooking, and circles of different colors can be seen winding around the center from the outside to the inside after cutting, so it is called "silk-wrapped duck egg".

4. Jiao Changying Yuanxiao was produced in Jiao Changying Village, Liyang Town, Xun County, Hebi City. This village is the famous hometown of Lantern Festival. The Yuanxiao produced here is white in color, without miscellaneous points, round in shape, soft and tender, thin in skin and rich in stuffing, sweet in taste, soft and delicate in entrance and fragrant.

5. Miaotou Black-bone Chicken Peanut is a traditional famous food in Xunxian County, Hebi City. It is made of local peanuts and processed by traditional techniques.

6. Wang Qiao bean curd skin in Xun County is one of the specialties on the east and west sides of Liyang Town in Xun County, Hebi City. Wangqiao village is called "the land of tofu". The tofu skin here is thin and hard, all made by hand.

7. Yixing River roast chicken is one of the specialties of Xun County, Hebi City, Henan Province. It was created by Jiang Liancheng, a native of Xunxian South Street, and began in the Shunzhi period of Qing Dynasty. According to legend, it has a history of more than 200 years.

Its characteristics: beautiful appearance, bright color, unique flavor, fat but not greasy.

8. Liyang Gongmian is a specialty of Liyang Town, Xun County, Hebi City, Henan Province. Originated in the Ming Dynasty, according to legend, it was named "Gongmian" because it was presented to the emperor by Wang Yue, Minister of Rites of the Ming Dynasty, and was listed as a masterpiece of the court. With geological groundwater, refined wheat flour and refined salt as raw materials, it is refined by hand through 28 processes with traditional handicrafts.
