Kiln change refers to the change of glaze color or shape of porcelain when firing porcelain, which is unpredictable by the creator. The kiln change of Jun porcelain is magical. The folk evaluation of Jun porcelain kiln transformation is "Jun porcelain has no right, kiln transformation is unparalleled!" It means that the glaze color of each jun porcelain is unique, and there are no two identical kiln-changed jun porcelain in the world.

Step 2 color

Jun porcelain is famous for its changeable glaze color, and there is no similarity between them. The glaze colors of Jun porcelain that can be named are: rose purple, tomato skin purple, grape purple, lilac purple, begonia red, vermilion red, chicken blood red, rose red, carmine red, azure, egg white, plum green, sky blue, navy blue, moonlight white, fish-belly white and so on.

3. Earthworms walk in the mud line

Another famous feature of Jun porcelain is that "earthworms get rid of mud". Xu Zhiheng, a master of modern Chinese studies, once mentioned the "worm lines and mud lines" of Jun porcelain in his book "Drinking Six Lenses on Porcelain", which probably means that Jun porcelain feels smooth, but there are various lines in the glaze color. The straight line is called tears, and the winding line is called worm mud lines.

Step 4 open the movie

Glaze opening is a natural cracking phenomenon of porcelain glaze during firing. Because of its unpredictability of forming open patterns on the surface of porcelain, it is one of the great charms of porcelain appreciation

Jun porcelain is no exception. The patterns of Jun porcelain glaze are large and small, long and short, sparse and dense, thick and thin, deep and shallow, curved and straight, and so on.

Color in Jun porcelain;

Jun porcelain is as colorful as a rainbow. The color aesthetics of our ancestors have never been so rich. Everyone can be an artist and an adventurer. With a stroke of a pen, Qianlong wrote: "The cinnabar in the world is not its origin, and the western gems are difficult to be the same."

For example, the rose purple glaze is a kind of loving tone, bright and light, with rosy color, purple in red, purple in enamel and purple in red, which reminds people of the haze after summer rain.

There is also the red glaze of begonia, bright red, which forms vivid and wonderful "kiln change" wax tears on the glaze of utensils, which is both positive and negative. As for the purple glaze of tomato skin, it has a strong "adult feeling". Purple is like ripe tomato skin, with purple in red, so it is called ancient and modern. Jun kiln can produce so many colors because of its rich kiln transformation technology.

The glaze formula of Jun kiln started from copper, which broke the tradition of using iron oxide as colorant and added many elements such as iron, phosphorus and tin. Separate glaze matching, layered glaze hanging and unique kiln transformation technology, that is, the art of fire, make the glaze color matching of each Jun kiln treasure unique and achieve the natural effect of "one color in the kiln, one color in the kiln".

Jun kilns follow the principle of regular symmetry in shape and texture, especially official kilns, regardless of size, pay attention to the beauty of symmetry, regular symmetry, elegance and generosity. By the Ming and Qing Dynasties, craftsmen had been able to master the kiln transformation skills to a certain extent after numerous firings, but there were still many uncontrollable factors in each kiln.
