What equipment does Taekwondo have?

Taekwondo has taekwondo clothes, protective gear, target kicking and other equipment. Taekwondo clothing is a uniform that needs to be worn in Taekwondo training or competition. Taekwondo clothing consists of tops and trousers, mainly white, but there are also black coaching clothes and performance clothes in primary colors such as blue and red. Compared with ordinary sportswear, the material of road clothes is more sweat-absorbent, breathable and easy to dry.

Taekwondo protective equipment includes helmet, armor, hand protectors, leg protectors and gloves. Protective gear is a tool used by Taekwondo athletes to protect themselves in the competition.

The protective helmets used in Taekwondo are similar to those used in other martial arts (such as boxing). The helmet is soft and divided into three parts: head protection, ear protection and adhesive tape. Head protection and ear protection are integrated into one, and the material is PU or synthetic leather. The top of the head protection cover is hollow and provided with air holes, so that athletes can keep comfortable and breathable.

Armor is a protective device to protect the body parts below the neck and above the waist. The most important thing to protect is the ribs (so as not to penetrate the lungs after cracking) and the stomach.

Hand guard is a protective device that can protect the elbow to the wrist, which is simply to protect the arm. In Taekwondo competition, the arm is also a frequent contact part, because opponents usually use effective defensive actions such as "blocking" and "blocking" to protect themselves when attacking with their feet, so the arm is more likely to be injured.

Leg protectors are protective devices for calves, and most martial arts have similar protective devices.

Gloves are shaped like anti-fall gloves. They are not used to make players hit their faces like boxing, but to protect their hands. When players open their hands and get hit by their hands during the competition, it is easy to cause injuries and even fractures.
