Activities of the Festival

The festival is mainly organized by the organizer of the theme of the activities, to attract cultural enthusiasts from all walks of life to visit and exchange. For example:

-World Heritage Area: Providing information on the attractions and history of Macao as a World Heritage Site (Autumn 2006)

-Education Area: Providing the latest education books published by publishers from the four regions across the Taiwan Straits (Autumn 2007)

-Olympics Area: Exhibiting books and products directly related to the Olympic Games, in order to promote the Olympic Games and to promote the development of the city. The Olympic Zone: Exhibiting books and products directly related to the Olympic Games, in order to publicize the information of the 08 Beijing Olympic Games. (Fall 2007)

Every book fair invites first-time publishers to present their work and share their writing, as well as inviting cultural figures and celebrities to talk to readers.

- Academic, therapeutic, parent-child and cultural lectures. (Autumn 2005)

Including the first book signing in Macau of Ng Fong Wing's book "The Wave is Round" and a talk on "Ng Fong Wing through the Lens".

- Lectures on contextualized teaching, Weng Jingjing's 'The Road from Star to Lawyer', and other lectures on the experiences of celebrities. (Spring 2006)

- Lectures on the debut of travel, education, and children's books, as well as lectures by authors on the contents of their works and dialogues with readers. (Fall 2006)

- Lectures on scientific knowledge. (Spring 2007)

- Lectures on the debut of new books in Macau and the introduction of their contents by the authors, as well as dialogues with the readers. (Autumn 2007)

Including the launching of "Forty Years of Soya Bean Flavors" and lectures and performances of Nanyin singing.

- Lectures on publishing and reading. (Spring 2008)

Contains architecture, entertainment, the Olympics, health and wellness, and children's reading.
