Ancient villages in South Anhui are located in Yixian County East, Anhui Province, represented by Xidi Village and Hongcun Village. Xidi and Hongcun ancient residential villages are located in the Huangshan Mountain Scenic Area in Yixian County, Anhui Province, East China. Chengzhi Hall is located in the middle section of Hongcun's Shangshui Canal, which was built in the fifth year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1855), and is the residence of Wang Dinggui, a big salt merchant at the end of the Qing Dynasty. The whole building is a wooden structure with richly decorated internal brick, stone and wood carvings, covering a total area of about 2,100 square meters and a building area of more than 3,000 square meters, making it a well-preserved large residential building.
